Bruce is appreciated for his 30+ years’ experience and legal wisdom, staying focused on his client’s 'big picture' while being carefully attentive to detail. He excels at identifying clients’ goals and then directing a carefully designed, outcomes-based plan. Strong personal communication and client relationships distinguish Bruce's approach to service. Currently, Bruce’s practice is primarily occupied with ongoing work for existing clients, select projects for new clients, and assisting SSP’s partners as needed.
Bruce and his wife, Julie Shaffer, have lived in Boulder since the mid-70’s, and are active in several community organizations. Bruce is an avid cyclist and prize-winning amateur photographer, frequent international traveler, and proud father of three young adults who are intent on improving the world.
